Vulgate makes understanding documents in different languages simple by allowing you to generate AI-powered translations directly within the document viewer. Follow these steps to translate a document:

Open Your Document: Navigate to and open the document you wish to translate in the Vulgate viewer.
Locate Translation Option: In the top-right corner of the document viewer area, find and click the View Translation link.
Select Target Language: A dropdown menu will appear. It shows the document's source language and lists available target languages (e.g., Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German). Click on the language you want to translate the document into.
Generate Translation: The system will automatically begin generating the translation. You will see a status indicator like "Generating translation..." appear in a new pane on the right side of the screen.
View Side-by-Side: Once completed, the translated text will appear in the right-hand pane, displayed side-by-side with the original source document in the left-hand pane. This allows for easy comparison.
You can now read and scroll through both the original document and its AI-generated translation simultaneously within the viewer.
