Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings: Click on Settings in the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of the platform.

  2. Access Billing: Within the Settings page, locate and click on the Billing tab near the top.

  3. Initiate Upgrade: On the Billing page, review your current 'Plan Summary' and 'Ingest Usage'. Click the Upgrade button located within the 'Plan Summary' section (or sometimes near the 'Total Ingest Spend').

  4. Choose Your New Plan: You will be directed to the 'Plans' page. Review the available subscription tiers (e.g., Free, Starter, Standard, Premium, Enterprise). Click on the tab corresponding to the plan you wish to upgrade to (e.g., click the Standard tab).

  5. Confirm Plan Selection: Click the button associated with your chosen plan, which will typically read "Upgrade to [Plan Name]" (e.g., Upgrade to Standard).

  6. Provide Payment Information: A 'Change Plan' pop-up window will appear.

    • Select an existing payment method from the dropdown menu if you have one saved.

    • Alternatively, click + New Payment Method to securely enter your credit card number, expiration date, CVC, and billing address details.

  7. Review Charges: Take note of the Due Now amount displayed in the pop-up. Vulgate automatically calculates any pro-rated charges based on your remaining billing cycle and any current usage overages.

  8. Finalize the Upgrade: Once your payment method is selected or entered and you have reviewed the charges, click the Update Plan button (or Add Card and Update Plan if adding a new card).

Confirmation:

Your subscription plan will be updated immediately. You can verify the change by navigating back to the Settings > Billing page. You should see:

  • Your new plan name reflected in the 'Plan Summary'.

  • The updated monthly price.

  • Increased 'Ingest Usage' credit limits corresponding to your new plan.

  • Updated billing cycle dates if applicable.
