Resetting your password

Forgot your password? Here's how to reset it — and how to change it when you're already signed in.

May 21, 2026

You can't sign in

  1. Open the forgot password page.
  2. Enter the email address on your Vulgate account.
  3. Click Send reset email.

Vulgate sends a password reset email to the address on file. Open it and click Reset password. The link opens a page where you can enter a new password.

If the reset email doesn't arrive, see Why didn't my email arrive?.

You're already signed in

If you remember your current password and just want to change it:

  1. Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
  2. Open My profile.
  3. Enter a new password in the New password field and click Save.

Choosing a strong password

Pick at least 6 characters. We strongly recommend using a password manager and generating a long, random password. Re-using passwords across sites is the single biggest source of account compromise.

Sign in with Google, Facebook, or Microsoft

If you originally signed up with a social provider, you don't have a Vulgate password — you sign in by clicking the provider button each time.
