Confirming your email address
Activate your Vulgate account from the confirmation email, and what to do when it doesn't arrive.
May 21, 2026
Right after you sign up, Vulgate sends a confirmation email so we can verify the address belongs to you.
Confirming your email
- Open the confirmation email from Vulgate.
- Click Confirm Email in the email. The link opens Vulgate in your browser.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the email on the confirmation page if prompted, then you'll be taken into the app.
If you don't see the email, return to the confirmation page in Vulgate and use Resend confirmation email.
I don't see the email
Confirmation emails normally arrive within a minute. If 10 minutes pass and nothing shows up:
- Check your spam, promotions, or junk folder. Search for
from:vulgate.ai. - Confirm the email address on your account is correct — open Settings → My profile and re-check the spelling.
- Add
noreply@vulgate.aito your contacts or safe-sender list and request the email again. - If you're on a corporate network, ask IT whether
vulgate.aiis on the allow-list for inbound mail.
See Why didn't my email arrive? for the most common deliverability fixes.
Changing the address before confirming
If you mistyped your email at sign-up, you can change it before confirming:
- Sign in with the wrong address.
- Open Settings → My profile and edit the Email field.
- Save. Vulgate sends a fresh confirmation email to the new address; the old one becomes invalid.
Already confirmed and want to change the email? Follow Changing your account email.
Why we require confirmation
Email confirmation protects your account in two ways:
- It prevents someone else from creating a Vulgate account using your address.
- It ensures we can reach you for security notifications, invitation links, and password resets.
That's why we'll keep nudging you (politely) until the address is confirmed.
