Managing Organization members
Invite, remove, and change the roles of users in your Vulgate Organization.
May 21, 2026
Owners and Super Admins of a Vulgate Organization can invite new members, change their roles, and remove them. This guide covers each action.
Open Org settings
- Sign in to Vulgate.
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Open Org settings.
You'll see two main sections: Invite members and the members list.
Invite a new member
- In the Invite members section, type the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Pick a Role from the dropdown — Super Admin, Content Admin, or Member. See Roles and permissions.
- (Optional) Click + Add more to invite several people at once.
- Click Invite. Vulgate sends each invitee an email with a link to accept.
Track pending invitations
Switch to the Pending invitations tab to see invitations that haven't been accepted yet. Each row shows:
- The invited email address.
- The role they were invited as.
- When the invitation was sent.
You can resend or delete an invitation from the three-dot menu on each row. Deleting immediately invalidates the link in the original email.
If a teammate says they never received the invitation, see Invitation email didn't arrive.
Change a member's role
- On the members list, click the member you want to change.
- Pick a new role from the role picker (Super Admin, Content Admin, or Member).
To transfer Ownership, contact info@vulgate.ai.
Remove a member
- On the members list, find the user.
- Click the three-dot menu and choose Remove from Organization.
- Confirm.
The user immediately loses access to the Organization's Library and chats. Their personal account is unaffected — they keep any Bookmarks they created (Bookmarks are personal, not Organization-owned), and they remain a member of any other Organizations they belong to.
